Hello, once again. Yet another digital post. Oh well. Anyhow, once the schoolwork calms down, I'll finally have time for typecasting once again! But, anyhow, onto the big news. I've gone international! Yes, you heard right, I am being interviewed by people in Tokyo! Of course, on the phone. It will be directly translated into Japanese by a translator, and I am very excited to do this. I'll let you all know how it goes!
Way to go, Matt!!
ReplyDeleteBanzai Ichiban!
ReplyDeleteFantastic. It is good to see the typewriter cult spreading around the planet.
ReplyDeleteIts no longer looking likely to have someone be the first to type on the moon, but maybe Mars. This could spread off the planet!
ReplyDeleteHi Matt,
ReplyDeleteI was listening to your interview today on J-wave, Tokyo United. That's my favorite radio show. :)
The interview was very interesting and I was amazed to know someone like you. I've never used a typewriter though, I understood that its simplicity attracts many people.
I have one question. You said on the interview that you can type 90 words per a minute, is that right? It's not 90 letters but 90 words? If so, you type SO fast! It's surprising!!
Anyway, keep on typing!
Good luck and best wishes,
Yuki(from Tokyo)
Yuki, thank you so much for the comment! It's really cool to see someone who listened to the interview on J-Wave on my blog! And, yes, it is 90 words per minute. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your reply, Matt. Wow, you really type 90words per minutes.. that's super fast!! Amazing! :-)
ReplyDeleteHello from Japan!
ReplyDeleteI just listened to Podcast program of your interview and it was very very interesting.
Have you ever seen Japanese character typewriter?
I have one at home, but its not used now.
They have hundreds of keys (Japanese and Chinese characters) and I enjoyed typing when I was a child :)
Actually your interview reminds me that I have a typewriter. I will check if it still work.
Thank you!
